Canadian Pediatric Society's Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and team-work skills.

4 Hour course Targeted at those who infrequently use ECG interpretation skills. Review the basics and practice interpreting printed and live rhythm strips.

Babysitting

This 10 hour Canadian Safety Council course is for children 12 and up. It covers child development, safety, first aid and CPR.  A great course for tweens looking to begin babysitting. The Babysitters Training Course is one of Canada Safety Council’s longest running programs. The course is an ideal community project, which can help prevent injuries and promote the responsible management of common situations that may arise while children are under the care of babysitters.

Home Alone

This 10 hour Canadian Safety Council course is designed for children 10 and up. The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.
